Vishnu Sahasranamam in Kannada

The Vishnusahasranaamam (the Thousand Names of Vishnu) scripture is a part of the ancient Hindu epic Mahabharata. It is essentially a prayer to the supreme Hindu diety Vishnu, by glorifying his innumerable qualities in the form of mellifluous poetry.

I have hosted the complete Vishnu Sahasranamam in Kannada on my site, at http://www.beligere.com/vs.htm. This page contains an introduction, and links to the Sahasranama text in Kannada, in html, baraha and pdf formats. The Vishnusahasranaamam is also available for download as an mp3 file, as rendered by Smt. M.S. Subbalakshmi.

In addition, this page contains links to other excellent websites with the meanings of the Visnu Sahasaranamam stotrams. There also is a link to a page with the Sahasaranama in Sanskrit, and transliterated into English. There are also pages with a detailed translation, commentary and audio of the various Vishnusahasranaama sections.
