The Chrysallis 'Power of One' Campaign

The Chrysallis Power of One Campaign was launched in Bangalore on March 3rd, 2007. A program titled 'Know Your Special Friend' was held at the Mount Carmel College here, partnering children with and without challenges - building new friendships, and enabling greater acceptance - eventually aiming to spread the message of oneness and inclusivity across our society.

I signed up for this, and joined a large group of volunteers from various organizations and institutions across town. It was, as expected, a wonderful event: very heartening to see all the kids at their expressive best. Here's a news report on the activities.
